BIRTHDAY CAKE - BIRTHDAY CUPCAKES?

While I’m tumblring, Marseille and I are looking at different Avenger themed cakes.  I’m thinking that maybe cupcakes will be a good way to go.  And maybe make two of each character and that’s that ….

PENNY PINCHING/MOTIVATION

So, a couple of posts back I mentioned how things were going to be tight because of our car needing some work.

So of course yesterday both the girls came home with broken School Bags!  All I could think was on average School Bags are between $10-$30 and I would need two!  I examined what was broken and as you can see I managed to fix them.  Even if my fix it job lasts until the end of the term, I’d be happy.

And in my mind, I’ve saved myself between $20-$60.  And with the car needing some work, that’s a good thing. 

And then!  I checked my listings on Trade Me and I had sold some of Boy’s old clothes!  Score.  I just made $20! (Must be something going on in Trade Me land because Kirianna’s sold some stuff too!).

And after getting the girls to clean out their drawers I’ve found another couple of things I can sell and make a few extra dollars to go towards fixing the car.  It’s not ideal selling old stuff to help pay for the car, but it is good motivation!  Because I know I need extra money, I’m actually, listing my stuff to sell.
